About Me

The Collectionneuse: (noun) The French word for a female collector. Or a nifty thrift blog written by yours truly.

The Collectionneuse is a humble blog about the pleasures and adventures of thrifting and DIY. My love for vintage clothing and repurposed furniture was initially a result of my meek, college-student budget some years ago and has now turned into a hobby and a way of life. I thoroughly love hunting through second-hand stores for old treasures, sprucing them up and finding them a place within my wardrobe or home. Here you will find weekly thrift store scores, DIY inspiration, amateur photos, ramblings about Los Angeles, my best friends and family, and probably a few too many pictures of dogs.

I am a young professional working in online marketing and spending my spare time scouring Los Angeles for the very best vintage clothing. Other than thrifting I enjoy exploring new places, good coffee and bagels, painting and crafting, Carey Grant movies, and books about the early 20th Century. Oh and I really like dogs.

I live, work, play and learn in LA.
