I am sure that you have seen the recent punny t-shirts that play off of major fashion labels, but I have to ask, what do you think? Love it? Hate it? Personally, I think it is witty and a perfect DIY project. Honestly, it is a simple as investing in a t-shirt (you pick the shape and color) and ironing on printed letters available at Michael’s and Joann’s. That may sound a little kitchy, but I promise there are non-soccer-mom (or soccer-player) options available. The key is finding similar typography for the lettering and also investing a well made, well-fitting shirt, which might mean crafting on a high-quality top. With that said, the American Apparel Factory Flea Market offers great blank tees for a fraction of what they cost in the store. I encourage you to look there… it’s a fun adventure anyways!
